Lacy Rand is a student at the Athena Academy on Caprica and a close friend of Zoe Graystone. Along with Zoe and Zoe's boyfriend, Ben Stark, she spends a great deal of time in a virtual reality-created club through the use of the Holoband. Unbeknownst to the adults in their lives, Lacy, Zoe and Stark are doing more than just socializing at school and in the world of the Holoband. Their exploration of some radical ideology could lead down a dark and dangerous path.
