Roger Cross was born and raised in Jamaica and moved to Vancouver at the age of 11. He enjoyed drama in school but never considered it a viable career; his heart was set on flying, and he studied Aviation at Trinity Western University.
While waiting for a flying job, Roger began working as an extra and doing stunts. He went on to study acting at the Breck Academy and landed a few roles. After enduring an extremely challenging experience filming The International Rescue on location in China, Vietnam and Burma, Roger decided to give acting his full focus for a year. His acting career has since taken off and he now enjoys flying in his spare time.
Roger is known to Syfy audiences as Travis in Continuum and his guest-starring turn in Taken. His other television credits include The Strain, 24, First Wave, The Guard, Arrow, Fringe, Orphan Black, Stargate SG-1 and The X-Files.
Roger's feature film credits include include Mad Money, The Day The Earth Stood Still and the animated Noah's Ark, as well as The Chronicles of Riddick, Ballistic: Ecks vs. Sever, Liberty Stands Still, Beautiful Joe, Double Jeopardy and Oliver Stone's World Trade Center.
