In traditional Castithan culture, every individual, male or female, is confined to a set sphere of influence defined by their liro. Within a liro, however, there are further divisions defined by one's job, age and gender. Mibuniro (Castithan society) only functions if every person plays their specific role, and that role is set in stone at birth. A woman's sphere is defined by her liro, her family and her husband. While women of the Shanje Liro (The highest order) rarely cook or clean, they ultimately are responsible for the home. Provided that their liro responsibilites are taken care of, woman may do as they wish as long as it brings no shame on their liro. Their sphere of influence is just less than men.
