Tears for Fears
Rafe's reunion with long-lost wife Pilar was a momentous one, given he last saw her when he banished her (In an acute manic episode, the bipolar Pilar had tried to kill their kids). A mixture of regret, longing and a sense of what-might-have-been all mixed together on Rafe's face. Graham Greene is an extraordinary actor, but were not often treated to scenes where Rafe is vulnerable. It feels weird even writing "Rafe" and "vulnerable" in the same sentence. We're glad we got the opportunity.
