Thunderbirds are large, bird-like creatures with reptilian features. Believed to have massive wing-spans they are similar in description to prehistoric pterosaurs and are regarded as being powerful, intelligent, and wrathful. Reports of Thunderbirds date back centuries and are associated with Native American tradition. They are believed to make thunder-claps as they beat their wings and Thunderbird sightings often corresponded geographically with storms. It has been theorized that these massive creatures follow air drafts to stay in flight.
