LINDA PARK
as Ensign Hoshi Sato
Linda Park stars as Ensign Hoshi Sato, the ship's communications officer. A young, spirited woman with an extraordinary gift for alien languages, she also serves as the crew's translator. A white-knuckle space-farer, Hoshi has more than a few reservations about traveling aboard the
Enterprise NX-01.
Born in Korea and raised in San Jose, Calif., Park's love for acting grew from performing in several high-school theater productions. She went on to study acting at Boston University, where she received a bachelor of fine arts degree.
Park was on the big screen in
Jurassic Park III and appeared on television as a guest star on
Popular.
She has also appeared in stage productions of
Mad Forest,
Lysistrata,
Cyrano,
Richard III and
The Trojan Women.
Park currently lives in Los Angeles. She is a Bronze Level International Latin Ballroom dancer and a certified actor combatant by the Society of American Fight Directors.
