Haven is an odd place to live since so many residents are Troubled. This man was minding his own business when suddenly he saw a countdown on every electronic device in the area. Sadly, the countdown, which was caused by a Troubled member of the Haven community, was a countdown to his own demise.
Not too long ago, Duke and Audrey left Haven on a secret mission together and, during an unexpected sleepover, the two of them shared a passionate kiss. She claims she only loves Nathan, but this smile has to make you wonder. Hmm.
Vince and his brother Dave own and run the local newspaper in Haven, which they use to help cover up the Troubles. They also own most of the real estate in town and Vince happens to own this snazzy little vintage Cadillac. Oh, and Jordan is a pissed off Haven-ite who is a walking Taser.
Meet Paul. Usually Paul is a nice guy but right now he’s upset because he thinks someone has burglarized his shop. To be honest, what’s really eating at him is the pressure of asking a cute woman out on a date. Sadly, Paul’s stress becomes the whole town's stress because of his unique "countdown" Trouble.
Sadly, we've seen the last of Officer Tater. Like other Haven residents he fell victim to Paul’s countdown Trouble. He’s partly to blame though because leaving Paul’s store without taking his statement was definitely part of Paul’s problem.
For a Wall Street guy, Wade is pretty slick as demonstrated here when he subtly plants pen cameras in Audrey’s office. For those of you just joining us, Wade is Duke’s older brother from New York who is about to learn about the family curse.
Another one bites the dust … or turns to dust. You get the idea. The way Paul’s Trouble works is that everything electronic in your vicinity shows you a countdown to your own death. Something the coach had to find out the hard way.
Always take good care of your prisoners of war—you never know when they might escape and turn the tables. In this case, Jordan will eventually let Vince go and decide to leave Haven but not until after she sets Wade off down the path of no return.
Speaking of the path of no return, here we go. Wade has become power drunk so quickly that he decides to kill Jordan, just to absorb her blood and get powered up. Sad to say, but Jordan brought this on herself.
