Duke left but the Troubles didn't and now Audrey and Nathan are left to deal with the aftermath. Tensions build as a new Trouble that kills people brutally if they so much as step into the shadows for a few seconds, arises.

2 of 10In order to stave off certain death, Nathan picks a team of Haven residents to travel with him through Trouble Alley to restore power at the power plant. In the process, they encounter an invisible monster Trouble that kills their engineer, greatly reducing their chances for success. The instructions were to be quiet but Dave managed to trip over his own feet, rattle a garbage can and awaken the invisible beast. Smooth, Dave, smooth.

3 of 10Duke, meanwhile is living the simple life as a mechanic somewhere far from Haven. Duke's turned over such a new leaf that when the daughter of a friend shows up looking for help, he plans to give her the money that she needs-- all 30 grand of it. Until he finds out the bank has no record of him, his bank account or even Haven. Weird.

4 of 10After battling the invisible monster, Nathan and team make it to the power plant. Havenite, Kira uses her electricity Trouble to jump-start the generator. It works, but she ends up tripping the circuit breaker when she can't get her Trouble to power down.

5 of 10Back at the school, Vince tells Audrey that Haven has a “no marks” serial killer. The same killer who killed Audrey’s son, James, is still killing Haven residents all these years later. As if that wasn’t enough, Audrey also learns that Dwight has authorized the “Sandman,” to put any difficult residents into an induced coma.

6 of 10By nightfall the generator still isn't back on. With light dwindling fast, Audrey gets creative and uses two residents with complementing Troubles to create light. The perfect solution.

7 of 10While Charlotte and Dave address the generator situation, Nathan takes Kira with him to track down a stockpile of aether which Charlotte or Audrey can use to rid the town of Troubles once and for all. With the help of a Rougarou tracker, which we first saw in Season 4, Nathan finds the aether, but now all he has to do is figure out how to retrieve it.

9 of 10Elsewhere in wherever-land where Duke is, he can't shake being the hero. When his friend's daugther, Hailie, is held at gunpoint by Duke's shady mechanic boss who's looking to cash in on a debt, Duke saves the day. And he also finds out that Hailie has a Trouble that allows her to pass through solid matter. Seems like this Crocker can't shake Haven or its Troubles.

10 of 10Nathan returns to the school without Kira and gives her fiancée Tony the sad news that Kira is dead. Haven catch a break - the lights are back on, so they've eliminated the Darkness Trouble but now they've got to quell an angry mob accusing Nathan of murder.
