Helix: The Three Most Effed-Up Moments - M. Domestica
Welcome back. "M. Domestica" is the fancy name for "apple," by the way. Who said Helix wasn't an educational show?
Anyway, on to this week's three most effed-up moments …
Season 2, Episode 6: "M. Domestica"
- Strange Bedfellows
Oh, Jules, you do make curious sexual choices, don't you? First you cheated on Billy Campbell, er, Alan with Peter (?!), and now you're sleeping with … Balleseros? While their copulating is passionate and features "edgy" editing, it seems Julia's heart isn't on the same page as her sweaty body as she cries out Alan's name during orgasm. Balleseros is unfazed, though: "That's cool," he sighs. It's probably not the first time this has happened. Bleh on all counts!
- Bad Berries
Amy's making a power play for control of the Abbey and her plan is getting increasingly diabolical. Her latest manipulation of Landry had him stealing the jar of infected honey, which he then used to infect the berries being passed out at Agnes' funeral. The result is over 80 Abbeyites suddenly running amok as crazed mycotics, putting the CDC team into a tailspin as Michael desperately tries to retain control of his increasingly fractured and chaotic community. Jeez, Amy: releasing a virus upon your friends and neighbors? You're a bad apple, girlie.
- Evil Alan!
We had a feeling we hadn't seen the last of Amy's evil brainwashing powder, the stuff that turned the Abbey kids into a stoning mob that gave Dr. Kyle some nasty cuts and bruises. The episode ends with Landry forcing Alan to breathe it all in, after which our hero turns villain and LIFTS SARAH OFF HER CHAIR BY THE NECK and proceeds to choke the mother of his child. So, does Amy want Sarah killed … or is this strangling just Step One of Evil Alan's mission?
Next Week: More crazy craze!
