From Helix to Continuum: Kyra Zagorsky Stays With Syfy

Helix may have just ended its second season, but at least one of its cast members won't be leaving the realm of Syfy anytime soon.

Kyra Zagorsky, who plays the unflappable (and immortal) Dr. Julia Walker on Helix, will soon be seen on the fourth and final season of Continuum, per our colleagues at Blastr.

Kyra joins Michael Eklund (Bates Motel, Shattered), Ty Olsson (The 100, Supernatural), Aleks Paunovic (The 100, Arctic Air), Lisa Berry (Xlll: The Series, Nikita) and Garfield Wilson (Almost Human, Arrow) as a team of future soldiers sent back to the present to battle Keira (Rachel Nichols) and the ongoing changes that have disrupted the timeline.

The third season of Continuum ended on an epic cliffhanger of alt-universe insanity, and we're psyched to see how this cosmic mess wraps itself up in the six-episode final season, which will debut later this year on Syfy.

Kyra Zagorsky is certainly no stranger to bonkers nuts mega-plots. The second season of Helix featured multi-generational incest, gunky yellow fungus, cannibalism, gas attacks, gruesome disfigurements and tons of other gonzo elements. She's also no stranger to multi-timeline narratives: Helix Season Two took place in the present as well as 30 years in the future, and Kyra's character Julia featured prominently in both.
