The guy who plays Lionel McCarthy, the uber-villain of Hunters, looks a little familiar, doesn't he?

Syfy audiences are certainly no stranger to Julian McMahon, as he recently portrayed the role of Dr. Rupert Boyce, the founder of the rather sinister South Africa-based Boyce Center, on Childhood's End.

One of Julian's most memorable early roles was that of John Grant, a detective with the Violent Crimes Task Force, on the thriller series Profiler (1996-2000). Beware of Jack!

Julian also played the role of Cole Turner, the human alter-ego of the demon Balthazor and ex-husband of Phoebe Halliwell (Alyssa Milano), on Charmed (2000-2005). Julian dated his Charmed co-star Shannen Doherty.

Julian's most popular television role to date is arguably Dr. Christian Troy, a brilliant but deliciously amoral plastic surgeon, on Nip/Tuck (2003-2010).

Julian's no stranger to comic book movies, as he played the role of genius scientist and wealthy industrialist Victor Von Doom in Fantastic Four (2005).

Of course, Victor eventually becomes one of the most popular Marvel villains of all time, Doctor Doom. Here he is shooting Jessica Alba with his evil doomy lightning powers.

Julian reprised his villainous role in the film's sequel, 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007), which didn't sit too well with The Thing.
