Everybody knows how devastating the Chernobyl nuclear disaster was but, somehow, everyone tends to forget how many horrible mutations and birth defects the victims of Chernobyl continued to suffer for decades after the accident. Everything from cancers to cyclopsy emerged in the surrounding area, although the most severe mutations were kept hidden from public view by shamed families.
