What is it about Texas that attracts chupacabra? Last year, a pair of them—or maybe just a couple of really ugly coyotes—were killed in the Lone Star state, and now a 13-year-old kid claims that he's also bagged one of those mythical blood-sucking creatures.
When Carter Pope of La Salle, Texas, saw a shaking, hairless, shriveled creature 200 feet or so behind his home, he immediately thought, "It's a chupacabra."
Carter shot three times, bringing the animal down.
Wildlife biologists say it could be a sick coyote. Dad says, "It looks like nothing I have personally ever seen before."
But what do you say?
