The first teaser trailer for the upcoming Conan the Barbarian reboot is here, and it's filled with smoke. A lot of it.
Lionsgate Films has just released a one-minute teaser for the film, which stars Jason Momoa as author Robert E. Howard's famous Cimmerian warrior. Check it out:
As you can see, there's not much happening in this clip except for a lot of faces and barely glimpsed figures sort of wavering in and out of a waft of smoke. Some of those figures may be Momoa's co-stars Ron Perlman (Hellboy), Rose McGowan (Grindhouse), Stephen Lang (Avatar) and Rachel Nichols (G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra) under a lot of makeup.
The teaser ends with a buff and glistening Conan himself, uttering the sure-to-be-immortal line "I live, I love, I slay, I am content."
Isn't that how we all get through the day? Conan, directed by Marcus Nispel (the Texas Chainsaw Massacre remake), arrives on August 19 in 3-D. Check out the teaser and let us know what you think.
