Jerry Bruckheimer just released the first official pic from his Lone Ranger movie, giving us our first look at the two main stars of the upcoming film: Johnny Depp as Native American warrior Tonto and Armie Hammer as the masked hero.
Bruckheimer, who's producing the movie, released the picture earlier this morning via Twitter.
Here's the film's short blurb:
The Lone Ranger is a thrilling adventure infused with action and humor, in which the famed masked hero is brought to life through new eyes. Native American spirit warrior Tonto (Johnny Depp) recounts the untold tales that transformed John Reid (Armie Hammer), a man of the law, into a legend of justice — taking the audience on a runaway train of epic surprises and humorous friction as the two unlikely heroes must learn to work together and fight against greed and corruption.
Okay, so we're kind of creeped out by the crow on Johnny Depp's head (Native American garb and all, we're sure), and the sky behind the two actors doesn't look all that right to us, but overall, we're liking the look the two actors are sporting, and Hammer (the prince in the upcoming Mirror Mirror) looks, shall we say, rather ruggedly handsome and dashing.

The Walt Disney film also stars Tom Wilkinson, William Fichtner, Barry Pepper, James Badge Dale, Ruth Wilson and Helena Bonham Carter and will hit theaters on May 31, 2013.
