What does Megan Fox's Transformers replacement sound like? Do you care? If you do, the first clip from Transformers: Dark of the Moon premiered and shows Rosie Huntington-Whiteley speaking! Not only that, but the model-turned-actress shares the scene with Dr. McDreamy, aka Patrick Dempsey, who comes off as a bit of a sleazeball!
In Dark of the Moon, Huntington-Whiteley is Sam Witwicky's new girlfriend. She's pretty much the exact opposite of Megan Fox's Mikaela. She's tall, blond and has a British accent. In this clip, we see her character Carly introduce Sam to her ultra-suave, too-cool-for-school boss, Dylan (Dempsey).
If you look in the background, you get a glimpse of two classic cars that scream "We're Transformers!" Subtlety isn't exactly Michael Bay's strong suit. Something tells us that those cars will end up morphing into lean, mean, alien fighting machines at some point in the movie.
It's hard to judge Huntington-Whiteley's acting chops off 47 seconds of footage, but it's all we've got. Do you think she's just another pretty face, or is she bringing something legitimate to the table? Maybe we should just wait it out?
You can see her and the whole cast in action when Transformers: Dark of the Moon opens on July 1, 2011.
