We're just a few short weeks away from the eagerly anticipated start of Marvel’s new Star Wars comics, but don’t forget about the decades of stories already sitting on the shelf.
Though Marvel has reacquired the comic publishing rights to Star Wars in 2015, Dark Horse has been cranking out some stellar stories for more than 20 years. Since their hold on the license officially ends Jan. 1, the publisher is having an absolute fire sale to take advantage of the vast catalog for just a few more days.
Every Star Wars comic ever published by Dark Horse is now 50 percent off, and the company is also offering a $300 uber-deal (list price of $2,714) that includes the entire Star Wars digital bundle. A steep admission price at face value, sure, but it includes a lot of comics. If you’re in the mood for some vintage Star Wars, act fast, because the deal is off once the clock strikes midnight Dec. 31.
If you’re overwhelmed by the sheer mass of options, no worries, we’ve got you covered with some excellent recommendations to get started. if nothing else, this is something to keep us entertained until Marvel’s reboot Star Wars #1 hits on Jan. 14, 2015.
Are you going to miss Dark Horse's tenure at the helm?
