There's a new cast member in the forthcoming Avengers sequel, and she's a bit of a mystery.
Every time a comic geek thinks they know what Age of Ultron will be about because they've read nearly every Marvel book in the last three decades, I think Joss Whedon just chuckles. It's not only that we don't know how Ultron will come to exist, it's that we don't know anything, really.
This casting will not aid our condition, but it will add another player to the field of speculation.
Korean actor Kim Soo Hyun has apparently been cast to play a doctor who will feature as Tony Stark's partner in the second act of the film. And while there's been no name provided, we have heard that around 40 actors did try out for it and that Joss Whedon himself went out to Korea for the final casting. That's enough to suppose she just might be important.
Moreover, Tony having a new science partner might confirm what we've long heard -- that Gwyneth Paltrow will not be back as Pepper Potts this time around.
That's all we've got to go on so far. But speculate away! Can you think of any Marvel player Hyun might be taking on?
