We’re nearly a month away from the hotly anticipated premiere of Alien: Covenant, and to whet our appetite for more Xenomorph action, 20th Century Fox has released a new video featurette.

Featuring interviews with director Ridley Scott and star Michael Fassbender (who is playing androids David and Walter in the movie), the featurette, titled “The Next Chapter,” takes us behind the scenes of the Prometheus sequel/Alien prequel. Covenant takes place 10 years after the events of Prometheus, and the video talks about bridging the events of both films.

“The Next Chapter” also features some exciting new footage from the upcoming movie, including a look at a younger version of Peter Weyland (Guy Pearce) in deep philosophical conversation with Walter (Fassbender); a shot of the Juggernaut (the alien spacecraft Noomi Rapace’s Elizabeth Shaw boarded with a bodiless David to search for the Engineers' world) arriving on the planet Paradise; and more. Also: Is that Sigourney Weaver I hear as the voice of the Covenant's ship computer, "Mother"?

Along with Michael Fassbender, Alien: Covenant stars Katherine Waterston, Billy Crudup, Danny McBride, Demián Bichir, Carmen Ejogo, Amy Seimetz, Jussie Smollett, Callie Hernandez, Nathaniel Dean, Alexander England, Benjamin Rigby and James Franco. The movie will burst into theaters on May 19.
