We're less than two months away from the hotly anticipated premiere of one of 2017’s earliest blockbuster movies (another one, Logan, is coming out the week before), and to whet our appetite for director Jordan Vogt-Roberts' (The Kings of Summer) Kong: Skull Island, four new action-packed promos have been unleashed.

Taking place during the Vietnam War, Kong: Skull Island will put a new spin on the giant ape's origin story. The movie stars Tom Hiddleston as Captain James Conrad, a badass former British SAS officer, and Brie Larson in the role of a photojournalist and peace activist named Weaver. Also starring are Samuel L. Jackson, Toby Kebbell, John Goodman, John C. Reilly, Corey Hawkins and Shea Whigham.

Making their merry way online yesterday, two of those TV spots were released by stars Tom Hiddleston and the King of Movie Speeches, Samuel L. Jackson. The one dropped by Nick Fury himself offers an introduction to the character he plays, Lt. Col. Packard. They also put the spotlight on the many, many dangers of Kong's island and its colossal inhabitants. From everything I've seen so far (trailers, promos, etc.), I think we're going to be in for a wild ride!

Kong: Skull Island opens on March 10.
