Spider-Man: Homecoming is finally opening in Japan on August 11. To celebrate the film’s release, a stunning new poster has been unveiled by the movie's official Japanese Twitter page.
What’s pretty cool about this new poster is that instead of featuring a photoshopped collage of the film’s main characters and villains, this one is done comic book style — and it looks amazing.
Illustrated by Japanese manga artist Yusuke Murata (One-Punch Man), the composition sees the film’s main villain Adrian Toomes, aka Vulture, locked in an aerial fight with our Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man high-up in the sky of New York City. Below them is Iron Man, blasting off to join in the fight against Vulture and help Peter Parker defeat the Marvel movie’s big bad.
Directed by Jon Watts (Cop Car), Spider-Man: Homecoming has grossed approximately $650 million dollars worldwide and is currently sitting just behind fellow superhero movies Wonder Woman and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 on the year. Check out the new poster, and let us know what you think.
