Beware, American Gods Episode 7 spoilers abound!

If you've been keeping up with American Gods on Starz, then you know Pablo Schreiber is absolutely slaying it as the largest leprechaun around, Mad Sweeney. (And if you haven't, what else could you possibly be doing on Sunday nights?) Through the first six episodes, Sweeney has remained somewhat of an angry mystery, as we haven't really delved into much of his backstory in the way we have with many of the other gods. Well, that's all changed in Episode 7, "A Prayer For Mad Sweeney," which, if the title didn't give it away, goes deep into Sweeney's long and interesting history.

In the video below, Schreiber gets good and caffeinated before pulling back the curtain on Episode 7 episode for us. In doing so, you get even more perspective on what makes Sweeney tick, as we learn it's not just gold and Southern Comfort that gets him going. As Schreiber says, Episode 7 really "establishes the heart" of his character. Check it out below, then let us know what you thought of Episode 7's Sweeney-centric revelations.
