If homicidal clowns freak you out, then it's a pretty sure bet kill-crazy dolls produce the same reaction.

Annabelle: Creation is the upcoming horror prequel to 2014's Annabelle, which was a spinoff from 2012's The Conjuring, directed by James Wan. The 1950s-set follow-up is being directed by David F. Sandberg (Lights Out) and explores more of the malevolent doll's disturbing origins.

Here's the official synopsis:

In “Annabelle: Creation,” several years after the tragic death of their little girl, a dollmaker and his wife welcome a nun and several girls from a shuttered orphanage into their home, soon becoming the target of the dollmaker’s possessed creation, Annabelle.

We caught up with stars Talitha Bateman and Lulu Wilson at SDCC, where the actors discussed their experiences at Comic-Con, the ever-watchful eyes of the Annabelle doll on set, all the crying and screaming required for the roles, and women in the film industry who have inspired them in their young careers.

Join the ladies from Annabelle: Creation and let us know if you're brave enough to face the terrifying toy when this horror show arrives on August 11.
