Ubisoft has released a brand-new Assassin's Creed Unity trailer showing off the mad skillz of Arno, the game’s lead character, who is a young Master Assassin embarking on an extraordinary journey to expose the true powers of the French Revolution.
It also introduces us to a young woman named Elise and raises some very interesting questions about the game’s plot.
Not only do we have this awesome new trailer, but horror writer and director Rob Zombie has directed an Assassin’s Creed Unity animated short -- which is wonderfully gory.
The nearly five-minute video is illustrated by The Walking Dead co-creator Tony Moore (VERY COOL) and features a powerful performance by French actor Féodor Atkine (World War Z, Ronin, Spy Games).
Pretty gruesome at times -- ya know, it’s Rob Zombie (House of 1000 Corpses, Halloween, Halloween II, The Lords of Salem), after all -- the animated short offers a look at the bloody history behind the French Revolution: “Off with their heads!”
Have a look:
Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed Unity videogame will make its debut on Xbox One, PS4 and PC on Oct. 28. It’ll ditch the competitive multiplayer, urging groups of players to form brotherhoods in order to assassinate targets by using stealth, detection and, of course, combat.
What do you guys think of the new trailer and Rob Zombie's animated short? Will Assassin's Creed Unity but a must-own game for you?
