As another Saturday winds its way down toward the end of summer, a couple of birthdays to note today.
First up, Cara Delevigne was born on this day in 1992.
Born in Hammersmith, London, Delevigne began modeling at age 10 and was crazy successful at it. She made the jump to acting in 2012, when she appeared as Princess Sorokina in Anna Karenina. From there she's played some choice sci-fi roles, including the Enchantress in Suicide Squad and a mermaid in Pan.
She was also in Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets. Still in theaters, maybe.
Also, born on this day in 1965: actor Peter Krause.
Here's the thing: Six Feet Under isn't science fiction, but we always sort of forget that. Honestly, it feels like it is, right? Not a huge amount of science fiction work from Krause, but he did play Joe Miller in The Lost Room miniseries.
Tomorrow: "Good Evening …"
