Adam West is gone, but before he died of leukemia at age 88, he reprised his role as Batman in the animated movie Batman vs. Two-Face. We now have the trailer for his final role as the Dark Knight.

Batman vs. Two-Face is sequel to Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders, which re-created the look and feel of the 1966-1968 Batman series, with West in the role of Batman and Burt Ward as Robin. Here, Hugo Strange is trying to extract evil from all of Gotham’s villains, but when his plan goes awry, Harvey Dent is splashed by liquid evil. He becomes the Bat-adversary Two-Face.

See what I mean about re-creating the 1960s series?

Better yet, William Shatner has taken on the role of Dent/Two-Face. Let’s just say he puts his natural-born hamminess to good use.

It looks like a fun film, but it’s always bittersweet to see deceased stars onscreen in new movies. From Phillip Seymour Hoffman in The Hunger Games to Carrie Fisher as General Leia in the upcoming Star Wars: The Last Jedi and a whole lot more, we've lost a lot of greats the past few years.

Will the Dynamic Duo foil Two-Face’s dastardly plans? Tune in to the DVD on October 17, 2017.
