If you’ve ever wondered what would happen if you threw A New Hope and The Beatles into a blender, wonder no more.

Palette-Swap Ninja spent the past few years figuring out how to rewrite and convert Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band into Princess Leia's Stolen Death Star Plans (say it on tune, you'll get it), by literally rewriting the entire album to retell the story of Star Wars: A New Hope. It is amazing, surprisingly clever, and a toe-tapping good time. As io9 notes, it’s worth the price of admission (which is free!) alone for turning “Lucy in the sky with diamonds” into “Luke is in the desert and whining.”

It’s an amazing project, and you can tell the amount of care taken to break down every beat and lyric of this classic album and turn it into a geeky masterpiece. The deeper into the playlist you go, the more you'll be impressed. Give it a listen, and you’ll never hear The Beatles the same again.

You can download the entire album right here, or check out the tunes in a YouTube playlist (complete with videos) below. Check it out and let us know what you think:
