Stephen Lawrence has been patrolling the streets of Brampton, Ontario, for years, and this new documentary takes us inside both his mission and personal Batcave.

Lawrence, nicknamed "The Brampton Batman," is a trained martial artist who has built everything from his own Batsuit to his own Batmobile, which he uses to patrol the streets of his own version of Gotham. The documentary Being Batman takes a deep dive into the life and motivations of Lawrence. For him, Batman isn't a character — it's a way of life. He certainly looks the part, and there's something truly impressive about the lo-fi Batcave he's managed to build on a budget. Lawrence says he hits the streets literally every night, keeping citizens safe and stopping criminals.

If you've ever wondered what it takes to literally suit up and hit the streets, this is a glimpse into the type of person that does it. Let's just hope his presence doesn't inspire a spat of real-life supervillains.
