Bilbo Baggins is on the move! Warner Bros. has released a brand-new photo of everyone's favorite ring-bearer stopping and staring in the latest still fromThe Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey.
In the new photo, it looks like something has caught Mr. Baggins' eye. The character, who's played by Martin Freeman (excellent casting), is sidetracked by something (or someone) off camera. Luckily for him, he isn't alone. There are several dwarves hanging out in the background. We wonder what's going on over there?
The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey follows Bilbo Baggins as he gets swept up in a quest to reclaim the lost dwarf kingdom of Erebor. On his trek, he's joined by 13 dwarves who are led by the mighty warrior Thorin Oakenshield (Richard Armitage).
Previously it was revealed that the announcement trailer for The Hobbit would make its theatrical debut in front of Steven Spielberg and Peter Jackson's The Adventures of Tintin. But first, the trailer will premiere on the web later today at 7 p.m. PST. Who can wait that long?
The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey opens nationwide Dec. 14, 2012.
