We get more excited for Peter Jackson's The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey every time we see a new promotional tidbit emerge. It never stops being fun to see another of our favorite moments from the novel pop up, and today is no different. Check out Martin Freeman's Bilbo as he's overwhelmed by his new friends and their epic appetites.
Of course you'll recognize Freeman right smack in the middle of this fray, curly wig, hobbit ears and all. But if you're still having trouble remembering all of your Thorin-and-company dwarves, these guys are (from left to right) William Kircher as Bifur, Graham McTavish as Dwalin, James Nesbitt as Bofur and John Callen as Oin.
They seem to be making themselves quite comfortable at Bag End, feasting happily on the contents of the famous Baggins pantry. Freeman seems to have the "in over his head" look down pat, making this a very amusing addition to our Hobbit promotional collection. But of course, it's only a matter of time before Thorin (Richard Armitage) regales Bilbo with a tale of a mountain, a dragon and a battle that must be fought.
We'll have to wait until December to see all of this play out in motion (or the first half of it, anyway). In the meantime, we'll take all the glimpses back into Middle-earth that we can get.
