The Black Panther's power may come from the heart-shaped herb, but it's the heart and soul of the film that's powered the film to the number three spot on the all-time domestic box office. Black Panther climbed right over James Cameron's Titanic and has its sights set on Cameron's Avatar. Whether it'll make that $100+ million jump remains to be seen. We've learned not to count this film out when it comes to box-office records.

Incidentally, Black Panther has also claimed the number 10 spot in the worldwide box office race, and it's close enough to take both Star Wars: The Last Jedi ($1.33 billion) and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 ($1.34 billion).

One thing's for sure, Black Panther is still going strong at the box office. Wakanda forever!
