A new trailer for the acclaimed indie horror-action flick John Dies at the End has finally hit the web, and the battle for Earth's survival is about to begin. Are you ready?

Based on a novel by David Wong, the film, directed by Don Coscarelli, is about two pals who team up to fight evil and save the world. It stars Rob Mayes, Chase Williamson, Paul Giamatti, Clancy Brown and Doug Jones.

The trailer is a NSFW cut, so it's loaded with salty language and some snippets of nudity. This one has a lot of buzz coming off the film festival circuit, and many are calling it one of the better modern-day, dark action-comedies.

Here's the official synopsis:

In John Dies at the End, it's all about the Soy Sauce, a drug that promises an out-of-body experience with each hit. Users drift across time and dimensions. But some who come back are no longer human. Suddenly a silent otherworldly invasion is underway, and mankind needs a hero. What it gets instead is John (Rob Mayes)and David (Chase Williamson), a pair of college dropouts who can barely hold down jobs. Can these two stop the oncoming horror in time to save humanity? No. No, they can't.
