Cara Delevingne joins Amazon fantasy series Carnival Row

She stepped into sci-fi starring in this year’s wildly ambitious Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets and now Cara Delevingne is headed to the fantasy genre.

The British supermodel is joining Amazon's neo-Victorian fantasy series Carnival Row alongside Orlando Bloom, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Delevingne is said to be playing a faerish refugee named Vignette Stonemoss, who is on the run from her war-torn homeland and comes to Burgue to face an even more hostile new environment as in immigrant.

There, she'll be no doubt bumping into Bloom's character Rycroft Philostrate, a police investigator who is tasked in solving the murder of a faerie showgirl on what’s called Carnival Row.

Judging by her butt-kicking skills as Laureline in Valerian, we're assuming that Delevingne's Stonemoss will be no shrinking violet.

Since making her transition from the catwalk to the silver screen, Delevingne has been racking up an impressive list of movie credits to her name including Paper Towns (2015), Suicide Squad (2016) and this week's new release Tulip Fever (2017).
