Hungering for more Hogwarts and the spellbinding secrets of Harry Potter's wonderful world? A new pair of books spotlighting the historical significance and cultural importance of the wizarding community is arriving by owls this fall.
Keeping the 20th anniversary sparking deep into 2017, the UK publisher Bloomsbury is releasing two new background books this fall centered in the swirling mysteries of the mystical arts. Titled Harry Potter: A History of Magic -- The Book of The Exhibition and Harry Potter -- A Journey Through a History of Magic, each edition focuses on interesting aspects of the sorcery-inspired minority amid the multitude of intriguing scholarly facets set within the Harry Potter Universe.
Both volumes are aligned with the British Library's upcoming Harry Potter exhibition, A History of Magic, which manifests itself on October 20 and runs through February 20. This illuminating presentation seeks to highlight a selection of magical subject matters taught at the famous School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, such as Defense Against the Dark Arts, Potions, Astronomy, Charms, Herbology and Care of Magical Creatures.
Bloomsbury recently marked the 20th birthday of the first publication of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone on June 20, and the company has not delivered an official press release, precise release date or cover art yet, but those should be coming shortly.
Will you clear some space on your bookshelf for these two new Harry Potter textbooks?
