One of Hollywood's most beloved character actors, Michael Parks, passed away Wednesday at the age of 77.
Parks' career spans close to 60 years. He started on television in shows like Gunsmoke and The Untouchables and worked almost every year up until his death, with roles in classic favorites throughout the decades like Ironside, Fantasy Island, Murder She Wrote and Twin Peaks.
In the mid-'90s, Park's career path would shift toward movies after being cast in Robert Rodriguez's From Dusk 'til Dawn. He would go on to work with Rodriguez and Quentin Tarantino in films like Grindhouse and Kill Bill: Volumes 1 & 2 while also adding roles in Argo, The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford, Tusk and Red State, among others. Directors Robert Rodriguez and Kevin Smith took to social media to honor the actor, who clearly made an impact on their lives and careers.
Park's cause of death was not revealed, but it's clear that his legacy will live on for decades to come.
