The BBC has released five new Doctor Who filming pics directly from New York City's Central Park. While we're quite excited about that (new pics = yay!), we're a bit saddened thinking how those pics are an integral part of the Ponds' upcoming final moments on Who. Sniff!
These five new pics show Amy (Karen Gillan), Rory (Arthur Darville) and the Doctor (Matt Smith) sharing some lighter (as well as some more serious) moments before we know all hell will break loose for them—courtesy of those dangerous and scary, but pretty darn awesome, Weeping Angels.
We think it's quite heartwarming to see both Karen Gillan and Arthur Darville share a laugh on set, even as we may be witnessing their final happy moments as our beloved TARDIS married couple too.
The BBC says:
Matt Smith, Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill have been stopping traffic in the Big Apple, filming scenes for the new series.
The cast and crew, including Executive Producer and lead writer Steven Moffat, Executive Producer Caroline Skinner and Producer Marcus Wilson are currently in New York shooting action for a forthcoming episode and America's reaction to the Doctor Who team has been as warm and enthusiastic as ever!
Scenes have been shot in East Manhattan, Central Park and appropriately enough, the Time Lord was also spotted in Times Square...
So what do you guys think of the new pics? And are you, like us, a tiny bit intrigued about the Doctor showing up in in Times Square?
