Warning: Spoilery bits for last night's Game of Thrones season finale will follow. So just gaze at this tasty gif for a bit and then skedaddle if you're not caught up.
So, last night, as Beyonce foretold, remember those walls they built? Well, baby, they tumbled on down. They didn't even put up a fight. A dragon knocked them down. And with them, maybe, possibly, but probably not, our sweet Tormund Giantsbane, played by Kristofer Hivju, the wildling wonder with a beard of dreams and a soul of love.
Love, especially, for our beloved Brienne.
And for his gingerkind, of course, telling the Hound, "Gingers are beautiful. We are kissed by fire."
Yeah, fire. Get it.
While the moment was meant to make us tremble in fear of a Tormundless world for the next year or so, we likely don't need to. Remember the rule of Thrones: if you don't see them die, they probably didn't die. (And sometimes when you see them die, they didn't really die. There are several rules.) And now that Jamie's back on the single scene, we have hope for a Tormund-Brienne-Jamie love triangle. Let us have this, David Benioff and D.B. Weiss. Let us have this.
