Emily VanCamp appeared at the TCAs this week to take part in an Everwood reunion panel and discuss her upcoming medical drama, The Resident. But that's not what we here at SYFY WIRE care about — we wanna know about Sharon Carter!

VanCamp played Sharon Carter, aka Agent 13, in 2014's Captain America: The Winter Soldier and reprised the role in 2016's Captain America: Civil War. Sharon is a former S.H.I.E.L.D. agent tasked with protecting Steve Rogers, aka Captain America. It wasn't until Civil War that Agent 13 revealed she was the grand-niece of Peggy Carter, Steve's first true love.

Deadline asked VanCamp if there were any plans for her to return to the MCU with the upcoming Infinity War. She simply said, "No idea." When asked about the possibility of appearing in Captain Marvel, she simply said, "You guys put it out there," with a smile. “With Marvel, they can give you a call the day before you shoot. You don’t know what’s going on with their movies, because they’re very secretive.” Sounds a little bit suspicious, no?

But she did offer one potential tidbit: There were conversations about bringing her to Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. “I think it was discussed, but I was working on Revenge at the time.” I watched a season and a half of Revenge, ABC's Sunday night soap opera. Yeah, she would have been better off on S.H.I.E.L.D.
