The first full trailer has been released for the upcoming Total Recall remake—and boy, does it look good.

The new, full trailer shows off a lot more than the teaser we got last week. It features some wild, Jason Bourne-esque action scenes from Colin Farrell, taking over for Arnold Schwarzenegger in the title role. We also get a better look at future Earth and the memory recall tech. Flying car chases, massive choreographed fights, gun battles and every other sci-fi action staple seem to be present and accounted for. This flick definitely looks like it will be an absolute special-effects extravaganza.

The film is a remake of the 1990 Schwarzenegger classic of the same name, based on the Philip K. Dick sci-fi story "We Can Remember It for You Wholesale," about a man who has his memories tweaked and becomes wrapped up in a conspiracy. Unlike the 1990 version, the reboot is set on Earth rather than Mars, and it looks to be a darker take on the tale, with a sci-fi noir style reminiscent of Blade Runner.

The film is set to open on Aug. 3.

Sound off: Are you looking forward to Total Recall 2.0?
