Are you a zombie superfan? Are movies, TV shows, videogames, comics, novels, toys and T-shirts dedicated to the walking dead just not enough? Well, there's a restaurant opening in Tokyo next month just for you.
On July 13, the Biohazard Cafe and Grill S.T.A.R.S restaurant will open in Tokyo for your shambling, zombiefied dining pleasure. It's based on the iconic Resident Evil game franchise (which is known as Biohazard in Japan), and Capcom, the company that owns the franchise, is getting in on the action by selling limited-edition merchandise in the eatery.
But here's the kicker: If you visit the Biohazard Cafe, not only will you have access to special Capcom merchandise, but you'll get to see Resident Evil characters live in person performing dance routines. So all you fanboys who've been waiting for years to see Jill Valentine dance for you might finally get your wish.
No word yet as to what's on the Biohazard's menu, but we're guessing brains have to be somewhere in there, even if they're made of gelatin or cherry jam or cake. But regardless of your dining tastes, you better get to Tokyo while you can, because word is the cafe's only planning to stay open for a year.
What do you think? If this works, we could see a new undead franchise headed our way, like Zombie IHOP.
