The fourth season of Game of Thrones will hit the shelves on February 17 in Blu-ray and DVD box sets, but we’ve got two deleted scenes that’ve already hit the wonderful world of the Internet to share with you.
The first cut scene comes from the season four episode titled “The Lion and the Rose.” In it, everyone’s favorite sellsword, Bronn (Jerome Flynn), imparts some words of wisdom to a distraught Shae (Sibel Kekilli), who’s just been sent away by Tyrion (Peter Dinklage). Have a look:
The second cut scene has been plucked from “The Mountain and the Viper,” the awesome and jaw-dropping eight episode of the fourth season. We see Ser Jorah (Iain Glen) being sent into exile and leaving Meereen and his beloved Khaleesi behind, and Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) telling Missandei (Nathalie Emmanuel) never to betray her. Check it out:
What do you think of these two season four deleted scenes? Do you think they shed a bit more light on the actions and motivations of some of our beloved Game of Thrones characters?
