Dark Horse Comics Solicitations: December 2017

Contributed by

Every month, SYFY WIRE will be bringing you the solicitations for all the upcoming comic books you need to know about. Today we have Dark Horse Comics’ listings for December 2017, including all of its graphic novel collections, manga, and single-issue comics.

Debuts to note from the Portland publisher this month include Giants #1, a monster mayhem story from newcomers Carlos and Miguel Valderrama. We also see some new material from Carla Speed McNeil (Finder) with Empowered & Sistah Spooky

It's a strong month for Mike Mignola fans as we see the return of Jenny Finn and Joe Golem, which he revisits as the writer. The highlight, though, is a one-shot called Hellboy Krampusnacht, plus the latest B.P.R.D.: The Devil You Know and Rasputin: Voice of the Dragon

To ramp up interest in the Tomb Raider catalog to coincide with the new movie, Dark Horse will be collecting the Tomb Raider comics in Library Edition hardcovers as well as the fourth volume of the Archives in regular hardcover format. Speaking of great collections, there's a nice hardcover of the first volume of the comic adaptation of Neil Gaiman's American Gods: Shadows and an EC Archive Volume 1 hardcover of The Vault of Horror.

Those who missed Incognegro when it was first published through Vertigo Comics can now revisit the provacative story in a 10th-anniversary edition. Incognegro is the story of a murder near the turn of the 20th century. Readers get intimate with the details as a reporter with skin so light that he passes for a white person, giving him incredible access to the investigation. It's his brother who stands trial for a brutal murder, but he must stay undercover until he can find the truth about who actually did the slaying.

Check out all these listings and more below, and then let us know what comics are making it onto your pull list in the comments!
