Actor Dave Bautista has been interacting with fans on Twitter quite a bit this week, dropping some little hints at what he's been up to. A couple days ago, he teased that he's working with Valiant Entertainment to develop (and star in) an Eternal Warrior movie for the company. Now, he's candidly talking about his role as Drax in Avengers: Infinity War, but don't expect him to spill the beans on the film — he literally can't.

"I chose not to read it," he told a fan who asked about his reaction to the script. "God's honest truth! I want to sit there with my bucket of popcorn and a bag of M&M's and be surprised!"

Wanting to experience the film as a fan is understandable. Infinity War is the culmination of 10 years and almost 20 movies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It brings together a massive group of characters, including AvengersGuardians of the GalaxySpider-Man, and more, as they combine forces to take on Thanos. Tom Holland, who plays Spider-Man in the MCU, reportedly wasn't allowed to read the script pages that didn't include Spidey, out of fear the excitable actor might accidentally leak something.

What does it mean that Bautista could get away with only reading his scenes in the film? Does it mean Drax and the Guardians aren't around for the climax? Is he just messing with us? From the footage shown at D23 Expo and San Diego Comic-Con, we know that the Guardians will meet Thor, and a pretty epic team-up between Doctor Strange and Star-Lord against Thanos was teased, so don't worry - there should still be plenty of the Guardians in Infinity War.

Avengers: Infinity War is in production now from directors the Russo Brothers, for a May 4, 2018 release.
