Shaky-cammed fake documentaries about the paranormal are easy fodder for a cheap horror flick — but what about a real documentary about the same topic? Or at least, what passes for a real documentary.

That’s what Demon House, a new horror/doc from the Travel Channel’s Ghost Adventures host Zak Bagans, brings to the Ouija board table.

Bagans wrote (wait a second...), directed, and stars in the film, which explores the mysterious occurrences around a home in Gary, Indiana. And now, we have a trailer.

Watch it here:

The trailer itself promises a Ring-like film that is itself cursed. Watch if you dare, it cautions, while, in the trailer, everyone Bagans encounters offers the same advice. Don’t go in the Demon House. It’s called the Demon House, c’mon.

“The house of 200 demons,” looks like no joke as aggression and doubt threaten to rupture the group’s proceedings and open up a real “Portal to Hell.”

This house is the most documented case of demonic possession in American history, according to the film’s synopsis, and audiences will be able to experience it secondhand when Demon House hits theaters and VOD at the same time on March 16.
