BBC America has unveiled a new companion trailer for the upcoming 10th season of Doctor Who.
Season 10 will mark the swan song for showrunner Steven Moffat and 12th Doctor Peter Capaldi. Moffat will be replaced by Broadchurch's Chris Chibnall, while the new Doctor hasn't been chosen/announced yet.
The Doctor will be joined for more glorious timey-wimey adventures this season by new companion Bill (Pearl Mackie) and assistant Nardole (Matt Lucas). This one was first introduced in the 2015 Christmas special "The Husbands of River Song" and returned for last year's yuletide special "The Return of Doctor Mysterio." Back in a guest-starring stint is Michelle Gomez as Missy (YAY!).
Oh, and speaking of guest stars, the one and only Hercule Poirot, David Suchet (love him!), will also pop up. Have a look at the Doctor, Bill and Nardole making their electrifying hero entrance (I am sure there will be much hero-ing to be had) in the companion trailer below.
"The first time you meet him, he's funny. The second time, he's amazing. The third time, you realize he's the most dangerous man in the universe. He says he's a man of peace, but he walks in war. I'm having the time of my life and I wouldn't miss it for the world, even if it kills me."
Doctor Who will premiere on Saturday, April 15 at 9 p.m., followed by the debut of show spin-off Class at 10.
