Things are about to get even stranger over at The CW. Epiphany, new spooky project in development that's centered on a haunted mansion and helmed by Stranger Things executive producer Shawn Levy, could be headed to the network.

The CW has added yet another show to their ever-expanding development slate. In addition to a Chilling Adventures of Sabrina series, the supernatural cop drama Dead Inside, and the recently announced Project 13 series based on DC Comics characters, the network is now developing Epiphany, a haunted house tale "in the vein of Stanley Kubrick and Agatha Christie" and "a psychological thriller about a group of gifted strangers recruited to a Gilded Age mansion to solve a complex code that lies within the structure's walls," per The Hollywood Reporter. Sounds like the perfect setup for a murder mystery party.

Spenser Cohen (Extinction) will write and executive-produce the project alongside Anna Halberg, Lee Toland Krieger (The Age of Adaline), and Levy and his 21 Laps company, which has Season 2 of Stranger Things premiering on Netflix later this month.

Should Epiphany move forward, Krieger will also direct the pilot episode. Krieger's next project is Deadly Class for SYFY -- a show based on an Image Comics' series about a teen recruited into a school for assassins. The Russo Brothers (Captain America: Winter Soldier, Captain America: Civil War) are on board to executive-produce.

It looks like things could be getting even more thrilling over at The CW. Better grab one of those superheroes they have lying around to keep you safe.
