Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is a very intense show, full of shocking deaths, huge twists, and big action sequences. It's no doubt also very hard to make. The actors have to remember all manner of sci-fi nonsense, the stunt team has to be on point, and the crew has to manage various effects and sets with precision. So it naturally follows that there would be plenty of moments where everyone makes complete idiots of themselves.
To demonstrate how much silliness actually goes on behind all of the serious S.H.I.E.L.D. operations, Marvel released the blooper reel for the show's fourth season on Saturday. It begins with Coulson (Clark Gregg), Quake (Chloe Bennet), and May (Ming-Na Wen) breaking out into dance with a group of extras, and it only gets goofier from there.
Apparently there's a whole world behind Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. that we don't usually see. The cast can't remember all of their technical dialogue, guns fall, knives bend, and doors absolutely refuse to open when they're supposed to. Plus we get to see the joys of acting in front of a blue screen, several of the men in the cast on the verge of making out, and dancing. Lots and lots of dancing. Even Ghost Rider (Gabriel Luna) manages to grin and do The Carlton for the cameras.
Even if you're not a fan of the show, this proves that making it is actually a lot of fun.
