It has been a long wait, but our favorite teenage witch is back to cast a spell on readers with issue #5 of one of the best darn horror comics out there, The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. Available May 18, 2016, the title is published by Archie Horror comics. It is written by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, with art by Robert Hack and Jack Morelli; cover and variant cover are by Robert Hack.
When we last checked in on Sabrina (last year, with July 2015's issue #4), she was on trial for sharing the existence of witchcraft with a mere mortal. Thankfully we pick right up with where we left off.
Check out the official synopsis below then take a look at the covers by Robert Hack, and a first look at the title's new recap page (trust me, it's helpful). And enjoy some exclusive pages from the book before you can pick it up next week!
The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is well worth your time, and if I'm lying you can administer the coals of truth to me before the witches council!
The official synopsis:
Sabrina has to face the Witches Council for an accusation of conspiring with a mortal against the Church of Night. It will take a series of unnatural tests to prove her innocence, but none of it will bring her beloved Harvey back. She’ll have to take matters into her own hands to find Harvey’s missing soul. Recruiting two other young witches (from a neighboring coven), Sabrina holds a séance, but as ever, Madame Satan is pulling the strings behind the scenes, and what Sabrina taps into is much more dangerous—and diabolical. And will send our beloved teen witch on an epic quest.
