Can’t get enough of the latest trailer for Captain America: Civil War? Of course you can’t. Neither can we. But Hero vs. Hero won’t just be coming to a theater near you this summer.
Marvel Comics’ Next Big Thing is a sequel to the story that inspired the upcoming May 6 cinematic brouhaha. Civil War II promises another Kobayashi Maru scenario for the Marvel Universe, where heroes are divided by a morally murky line.
Unlike last time, when it was the Superhero Registration Act that had the capes choosing sides, this time the conflict arises over the future.
Here’s the official synopsis from the House Of Ideas:
A mysterious new Marvel character comes to the attention of the world, one who has the power to calculate the outcome of future events with a high degree of accuracy. This predictive power divides the Marvel heroes on how best to capitalize on this aggregated information, with Captain Marvel leading the charge to profile future crimes and attacks before they occur, and Iron Man adopting the position that the punishment cannot come before the crime.
Civil War II, from writer Brian Michael Bendis and artist David Marquez, debuts in comics shops in June, and is expected to impact just about every major character and title.
Blastr has the exclusive debut of a brand-new teaser image, featuring the one and only She-Hulk. Now, we can’t really tell exactly what’s happening in this image that led to She-Hulk being laid out, but we can decipher that she is CLEARLY not happy about it. Another big question: who’s casting that shadow over Jen Walters?
While we ponder that, we want to hear what you think. Sound off -- #TeamMarvel or #TeamIronMan? Choose your side.
