Yesterday may have been all about our boy in red, white, and blue, but today the spotlight’s on everyone’s favorite God of Thunder.

Ahead of San Diego Comic-Con, Marvel has released a brand-new teaser image for its upcoming superhero film Thor: The Dark World.

The fantastic new concept teaser poster shows off Chris Hemsworth’s Thor soaring high with his trusty hammer Mjolnir and surrounded by — what else — lightning.

We also have a look at Christopher Eccleston’s villainous Malekith, as well as returning cast members Sir Anthony Hopkins in the role of Thor’s almighty father and King of Asgaard Odin; Natalie Portman, who’s back as Thor’s human lady love and scientist Jane Foster; and Tom Hiddleston’s silver-tongued God of Mischief, Loki.

The teaser image does what it does best and also provides us with our very first look — and that’s pretty cool — at Algrim the Strong, played by Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (Lost).

What do you guys think? Are you being teased enough?

Directed by Alan Taylor, Thor: The Dark World will hit theaters on Nov. 8, 2013.
